Multifamily Plus Program
The Multifamily Plus Program offers residential property owners new energy-efficient equipment and professional services at greatly reduced cost. Building owners who receive electric and/or natural gas distribution service from PG&E on properties located within the city limits are eligible to participate.
The expert technical assistance and discounted installation services provided are valuable to multifamily property owners who have little time to examine all available options on the market today. These benefits, when combined with continued monthly savings on utility bills, prove to be a wise investment in addition to the value of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Examples of Available High-Efficiency Upgrades:
Lighting and Lighting Controls
General overhead and wall fixtures in common areas and apartments when applicable; exterior, garages decorative, and spotlights. Installation of occupancy sensors and timers. Gas Water Heater and Boiler Controls

Refrigerators must be in working condition to qualify for measure. Vending Machine Controller
For machines containing only nonperishable bottled and canned beverages. Includes a passive occupancy sensor to turn off fluorescent lights and compressor when the surrounding area is unoccupied for 15 minutes or longer.
